3:30 Joan Ryan an author and noted columnist from The Chronicle is going to do a reading from her new book "The Water Giver". It is about her experience caring for her son who suffered a traumatic brain injury. This should prove to be an interesting way to understand what the journey is like for someone a bit farther through it.

4:00 - 5:00 Alex Ismerio and John Rogers, with Joan Ryan in conversation about Todd's journey through recovery.
Alex and John will be sharing their to-the-minute updates from daily experiences by Todd's side, and the discussion will open to the audience for questions about Todd, this crazy journey, Todd's recovery, and what lies ahead.

1 Wall / 25 Gears is a 7' x 8' kinetic monument of aluminum gears being sponsored and built by 25 artists and artist organizations, in honor of and to financially support Todd Blair. This event is to celebrate Todd, the gearmakers' efforts... and of course, to have plenty of fun doing all of the above and then some! BTW- care to sponsor a gearmaker... ? :D
